• AQUA PA TO CLOSE ROUTE 401 IN CHESTER COUNTY |

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA – Aqua Pennsylvania will close Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Deer Run Lane and Buck Run Lane in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, beginning Monday (June 22) for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. Route 401 will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through July 20.
During construction, Route 401 through traffic will be detoured over Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Planebrook Road, and Phoenixville Pike. Local access will be maintained up the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
