The work is part of PennDOT’s $6 million preventative maintenance project to repair deteriorated concrete on 18 state highways in the Philadelphia region. Crews are repairing and improving 63 miles of highway in the region by sealing concrete pavement joints and cracks, and patching areas of deteriorated concrete pavement.

Glasgow Inc. of Glenside, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $6,073,681 project that is financed with 100 percent state funds. The work is expected to finish in May 2012.
