• WEEKEND SINGLE LANE PATTERN ON 202 IN UPPER MERION
Thursday, July 21, 2011

King of Prussia – Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Henderson Road and Saulin Boulevard in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County from 9 p.m. Friday (July 22) to 6 a.m. Monday (July 25) for concrete pavement restoration by PECO Energy and Pennsylvania American Water Company, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said today.

One travel lane will be maintained in each direction on the southbound side of Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) while the contractor pours new concrete patches on the northbound side of the highway. Motorists are advised to avoid the construction area or allow additional time for travel on Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) because backups and delays will occur.

A contractor working for the utility companies will perform the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on Route 202 and other major highways before heading out.
