TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK ON SEVERAL STATE HIGHWAYS FOR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS IN THE

King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in the Philadelphia region, for tree removal and pavement patching operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, March 27, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 212 (Durham Road) at Funks Mill Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

• Monday, March 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 322 between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Interstate 95 in Concord, Bethel and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County, for pavement patching;

• Monday, March 27, through Thursday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 Bypass between Route 10 (Octorara Trail) and U.S. 202 in Sadsbury, Valley, West Brandywine, Caln, East Caln and West Whiteland townships, Chester County, for pavement patching;

• Monday, March 27, through Friday, March 31, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Brookhaven Road between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Bridgewater Road in Nether Providence Township, Delaware County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

• Tuesday, March 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) at Route 352 (New Middletown Road) in Middletown Township, Delaware County, for tree removal operations;

• Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 from the Philadelphia city line to the Delaware state line in Delaware County, for pavement patching;

• Tuesday, March 28, through Thursday, March 30, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on West End Boulevard at Green Top Road in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

• Wednesday, March 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on the ramp from eastbound Interstate 76 to University Avenue in Philadelphia, for tree removal operations;

• Thursday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 from the Delaware state line to the Philadelphia city line in Delaware County, for pavement patching; and

• Friday, March 31, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Headquarters Road near Municipal Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work zones.
