TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK ON SEVERAL STATE HIGHWAYS FOR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS IN THE
King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in the Philadelphia region, for tree and debris removal operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent left lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Route 29 (Collegeville Road) interchanges in Lower Providence and Upper Providence townships, Montgomery County, for debris removal;
• Monday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Geerdes Boulevard and 5th Avenue in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, for tree removal operations;
• Monday, April 24, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Old Kennett Pike between Bayard Road and the Delaware state line in Kennett Township, Chester County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday April 24, and Tuesday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 202 between Route 413 (Durham Road) and Cranberry Road in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Godfrey Road and Conestoga Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Tuesday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent left lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between the Route 29 (Collegeville Road) and Township Line Road interchanges in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, for debris removal;
• Tuesday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 26, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Sugartown Road between Dutton Mill Road and Goshen Road in Willistown Township, Chester County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Tuesday, April 25, through Friday, April 28, lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Beidler Road and Moore Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Wednesday, April 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent left lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between the Township Line Road and Evergreen Road interchanges in Limerick Township, Montgomery County, for debris removal; and
• Thursday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound Route 842 (Wawaset Road) between Davidson Road and Bridge Road in Pocopson Township, Chester County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
