PECO TO CLOSE U.S. 202 (DEKALB STREET) WEEKNIGHTS FOR UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN NORRISTOWN, MONTGOMERY
King of Prussia, PA – PECO is scheduled to close U.S. 202 (DeKalb Street) between Schuylkill Avenue and Main Street in Norristown, Montgomery County, on Monday, October 30, through Friday, November 3, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During construction, U.S. 202 (DeKalb Street) motorists will be detoured over Main Street and Markley Street. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule is weather dependent. PECO will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
