TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK ON LOWER STATE ROAD FOR CURB RAMP INSTALLATION IN DOYLESTOWN
King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter lane restrictions with flagging next week on Lower State Road between U.S. 202 and Memorial Drive in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, on Monday, November 27, through Friday, December 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for handicap curb ramp installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent. Under this project, PennDOT is constructing approximately 0.9 miles of a shared use path, and will be performing traffic signal modifications, landscaping, and other related construction work. Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in November 2018. James D. Morrissey, Inc., of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the $1,327,271 project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
