U.S. 202 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Pavement Marking Installation in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – Overnight periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways including U.S. 202 in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties, on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10 from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for pavement marking installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

 

The work locations include:

  • U.S. 202 between County Line Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Warrington and Doylestown townships, Bucks County;

  • U.S. 202 between U.S. 422 and Swedesford Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;

  • U.S. 202 between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and County Line Road in Montgomery Township, Montgomery County;

  • U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) between U.S. 202 and Business U.S. 30 in West Whiteland and East Caln townships, Chester County;

  • Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) between Bergey Road and Rich Hill Road in Hilltown and West Rockhill townships, Bucks County; and

  • Route 611 (Easton Road) between Almshouse Road and County Line Road in Doylestown and Warrington townships, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
