Temporary Traffic Signal Installation on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) Intersection in Westtown Townshi

King of Prussia, PA – A temporary traffic signal is scheduled for a weekday installation at the U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) and Pleasant Grove Road intersection, in Westtown Township, Chester County, on Monday, May 20, through Tuesday, June 4, to alleviate traffic congestion in the area due to a local road project, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The local municipal sponsored project consists of a new connector road between West Pleasant Grove Road and Stetson School Drive. Due to the closing of the Stenson School Drive jug handle beginning sometime in mid-June, PennDOT is installing the temporary signal on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) to help traffic flow. The temporary signal is expected to remain in place until the project completion in late August.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area because backups and delays may occur.
